1. What we collect
When you fill the enquiry form: your name, email, and anything else you choose to share — phone, company, website, the service you need, budget, timeline and your message. We also record the time, your IP address and an approximate location (city/country) with each submission, to help us spot spam.
When you browse the site: for our own analytics we log each page view with your IP address, an approximate location (city / region / country, derived from the IP), the page visited, the referring link, and your browser's user-agent. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising trackers.
2. Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote; to protect the site from spam and abuse; and to understand how many people visit and roughly where from, so we can improve the site. That's it.
3. Legal basis
We process enquiry details on the basis of your request (taking steps at your request before entering into a contract) and process basic visitor analytics on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and improving our own website.
4. Where it's stored & who can see it
Data is stored in our own PostgreSQL database and is visible only to K & N through a password-protected admin area. Enquiries may also be emailed to our own inbox so we can respond. Approximate location is looked up via a third-party IP-geolocation service; only your IP is sent to it for that lookup. We don't sell or rent your data, and we don't share it except where required by law.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to work with you (and a reasonable period after, for our records). Visitor analytics are kept only as long as useful for understanding traffic. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop using it. Just email kevinlaptop25@gmail.com and we'll action it promptly.
